L’os is a very renowned restaurant in Lebanon (Ain Saade) serving authentic Lebanese and French cuisine. The restaurant is famous for several of its specialty dishes such as the moules et frites, baguette a l’ail and grenouilles a la provencale. Creative Punch was asked to revisit the restaurant’s menu and propose a visual identity for its communication.

Our approach was to celebrate the beauty and diversity of the menu offerings. The mouth-watering dishes were each illustrated separately. The style we chose was spontaneous and sketchy, featuring black ink drawings and watercolor. The outcome resulted in a palette of illustrations used in a playful composition on the menu cover and in a versatile application on the occasional posters.
